Scatter Cushions

Cushions are such a great way to incorporate colour into a plain or drab Living Room, Theatre Room or Sitting Room. You may even just want to add a touch of colour to your Bedroom Decor, and these Cushions will do that. They are all handmade with the same fabric that i use to make my Art here at Kim T Designs, simply by adding a plain cream 100% Cotton envelope style to the back.

Scatter Cushions as they are also know can be coordinated with your Wall Art, even in different patterns, to give that ‘Point Of Difference’ in Interior Decorating. As shown below, i have coordinated two different fabrics to let you visualize what i mean.

Both of these Fabrics are made in exactly the same Colourway, however their designs are uniquely distinct and do look absolutely fabulous together.

I also personally like to see other accessories highlighted throughout the home, adding to the overall effect of the home decorators experience. Items such as Table Runners for instance. The Table Runner is something that is coming back into it’s own. The modern way is to not over decorate or clutter, and they seemed to be extinct there for a while but have made a great comeback in the last few years.

I can even admit that i was never a fan of them but now i own quite a few. It is only because of the Fabric that mine are made out of that swayed me into buying some. Here is a picture of my own Dining Room Table with the ‘Busy Bee Red’ Runner on it. I think it looks lush, it does not hide the whole Table like Table Cloths do which makes it more appealing to the eye. I now only use a Table Cloth when we eat at the table and put the Runner back on at every chance that i can get. If you are still not enticed to the humble Table Runner, you can always be creative with Placemats instead.
